Eyes are the most precious organ of our body. It is hard to imagine our life without eyes. However intentionally or unintentionally we are doing some bad things which are affecting our eyes.

From the last 10 years, younger and teenager who use spectacles are increased 4 times from then. The reason found was obvious overwatching smartphones and TV screens. When they stare at these digital screens for a long time without blinking. Our eyes go dry and then dead cells float near the surface of the eye. Accumulation of dead cells over a period of time can cause inflammation, of course, we have some jobs where we have to sit in front of the PC whole day and to do our work. Well here is something that you can do. You can just go off your seat every 2 hours walk a few steps and have some water on your face and drink some too. Not only it will relieve your eye but also hydrate your body which is good for you.

People who have a habit of rubbing their eyes seriously damage their tiny blood cells beneath their surface moreover if your hands are not clean the germs on your hands get transfer onto the eyes surface causing irritation and redness. So if you feel itching near your eyes just gently calm it down and wash your eyes with some warm water.

3. Reading While Travelling.
Reading or writing while traveling not recommended in a way that your eyes will be under constant strain because the text you reading is moving and vibrating thus making it difficult for your eyes to focus the text. Nowadays books have been replaced by E-Books focusing or reading the tiny letters on smartphones hurts your eyes which may result in a bad vision for a long time. Hence You should avoid reading, writing or texting someone while traveling on bumpy roads.

5. Working In Low Light.
Our Elders has always advised us to use table lamps while studying at night. Reading or writing in low light puts heavy pressure on eyes muscles and making them weak over time using mobile with room lights off can also ruin your vision badly so make you always work in proper light without straining your eye muscles.

1.Food For Eyes.
If you want your eyes to live longer so it is must for you to include certain food in your diet for good eye health. All Green Leafy vegetables are rich in Zeaxanthin and Leutin which are the two most important nutrients for eyes. Carrot and Spinach are rich in Vitamin A which should be included in your diet in the form of salad or juice. Amla is highly rich in vitamin C which is mainly important for eyes. Make sure to eat one raw amla a day. Apart from walnuts which are rich in omega 3 should be consumed daily. Moong daal is also very good for your eyes it should be consumed 2-3 times a weak. Other then this it should be noted that excessive use of salt in the diet also negatively affect our eyes. So if you start taking care of your diet it will start taking care of you.

We Train almost all the muscles of our body chest legs or shoulder also but what about eye muscle. You will be amazed to see the results if you will do some exercise for just 2-5 minutes a day. First is to move your eyeball in a circular motion start slowly until you get a hold on it. Do it for 30 seconds. The second one is just tightly close your eyes hold it for 3 seconds and then open it. The Third one is very simple just rub your palm together and place them on your eyes the warm of the palm will relax your eye muscles. The Fourth is an acupressure point between the index and the middle finger press it and hold it for 30 seconds. Walking on Green Grass in the early morning also helps our eyes and even looking in the natural greenery early in the morning moving out in fresh air daily in the morning will affect your eye health positively. These exercises are very simple and effective but the problem is that we tend to forget them for doing.   


3. Eye Wash

Fill your mouth with water and wash your eyes with water. The purpose of filling the water in your mouth is just to expand your eyes for cleaning them in an easy way. 5. Home Remedy for Eye Care
Now I am going to share with a tried and tested home remedy which will get you rid of all kind of eye problems. For this, you will need almonds, Fennel seeds(Sauf) and Mishri(Sugar). Take equal amount of all three ingredients and grind them to make a powder and also you can store this mixture in a closed jar for daily use. Just take 1 teaspoon of this mixture and add warm milk to it in a small cup and drink it Just do it for a few months and you will see the magic of it. But for children below 14 years of age, it is recommended to add 1 teaspoon of this mixture in water full of a small cup and then drink it.
